A big reason i think a lot of comic book films

Havent been popular is because they seem to have been made more in order to play catch up after covid disrupted everything. Theyve prioritised making products that are very by the numbers as opposed to making unique superhero films. They're exceptions of course but their seems to be more spectacle over substance

This is all true but the biggest single reason is that there have been too many. It's been done to death and there is not much else you can do.

It's remarkable that it's had such a big run but I'm glad that the MCU dominating cinema is coming to an end

@Burnley123 And with the studios pushing their own streaming services there is also pressure to just push them out en masse like TV episodes.
