What was the Greatest year for Cinema?
I really remember seeing a few good films in 2008/2009. But it has been a while since I last got excited about seeing an upcoming film in more recent years.

In my lifetime probably the mid 70's to the mid 80's.
Quite a creative era with the emergence of many excellent Directors; and writers.
American; French; Italian and Spanish filmmaking was adventurous and much of it still holds up well today
