@GerOttman When you think about the basic wage of a US worker, those share prices are in the realm of the ultra-elite! If a person works 40 hours a week earning US $ 7.25 per hour they can't even afford to buy *one* GE share after tax and living costs come out. The USA is a strange egg here - basic wages are already very low but the country's labour market still can't compete with the likes of China, India, etc.

@zonavar68 oh, it's the latest thing. all the kids are doing it! There are many ways to invest, this is just one. Robbinhood was big early on with fractionals, I think. Actually many of your minimum wage types took advantage and tried their hand.
I recently exited GE for a nice profit! If I wanted to worry about something knocking the market down, I'd start with our friends and opponents in the mid east... Schizz just got real again brah!
