October is a great time for drive-in theaters

Especially if you're able to find one that does double features of classic horror movies. My sister's gonna be out of town for the next four days and was telling me how she bought tickets for a drive-in theater where she's headed with her fam to see a double feature of Alien and The Thing. The latter being one of her all-time favorites that her two daughters haven't seen yet. I'm totally jealous, lol. But they're in for a treat!

With Alien ,the suspense is that powerful I actually shouted out first time I seen it and the cinema cracked up. Two great movies

Days of old unfortunately. No drive-ins within over 100 miles here.

@SleepingWithGhosts Yeah, there are very few of them left, it seems. I imagine they rely a good portion of their income on holiday seasons like this month.
