I honestly don’t give a sh!t when celebrities or famous people pass away
I empathize for their families and loved ones. It’s never a good thing when someone passes away.
However I’m a little choked up reading that Kevin Conroy. The man who’s voiced Batman for over 30 years passed.
Growing up My favourite cartoon was Batman the animated series and that man’s voice Carried me through into my late 30’s be it through the shows I watched with the kids or the video games. No one’s ever come close to it.
I wouldn’t be surprised is Mark Hamill call it quits for good as the voice for the Joker because of this.
@ImRileyTheDog I mean, I'm sad about it, because that means there's never going to be another Batman movie with Kevin Conroy, but I'll move on. It's more like nature has conspired to ruin something I like.
@Whodunnit completely agree on that. Anytime you hear Batman speak in any situation and it wasn’t Conroys voice it just wasn’t right. Felt like a shit dollar store knock off version of a movie or video game 😩
It's weird. Out of all the celebrity deaths this past year, that's the one that hits me the hardest. Kevin was Batman, as far as I'm concerned. He captured the tortured personality of Bruce Wayne without overdoing it, and also managed to transition perfectly into the fake playboy persona Bruce put on for the public.
