Anybody else here fall asleep every time Dune comes on the TV?

@fun4us2b The David Lynch version from 1984 — or the Alan Smithee version from 1984, as it was reedited without Lynch's input at one point and he disowned it.

@SW-User I tried - same effect....couldn't get through it, and I read the LOTR and many other very long books and series - but can not get through Dune. I don't know what it is!

@fun4us2b I could not get through the book either. That is why I bought the DVD. Brilliant movie.

@fun4us2b The first time I saw it stoned in my early 20's over 30 years ago I saw things I never saw before in it, despite seeing it at least 10 times before that.
