Love Shawshank. Never saw the first one. My other favorite movies are Gladiator, and The Equalizer with Denzel Washington. Wow amazing movie🙂

@Baybreeze What an excellent choice! The 2002 version of Monte Cristo is arguably one of the best movies ever made.

Another movie about freedom of a sort. Look into the plot and you'll see why. The story is about a man deprived of any mental stimulation whatsoever... however, almost unbelievably, he teaches himself how to play chess at a world class level. Read the entire article.

@SarahMama2 It truly was a great adaptation. They just had a new tv version on Masterpiece on PBS with Sam Claflin as the Count ...it was good , but still the Caviezel one was better🙂

Cool Hand Luke was alright for me, but Shawshank Redemption was 👍👍
Iwishididit · 41-45, M
@LadyBronte your opinion and i respect that. I just liked how he couldn't be held down and eventually got tired of people feeding on him. He did things for himself and to show the man they aint shit. Guess i am kinda the same so i liked it

Papillon if you haven't seen it...

Shawshank was 10/10.
But mine, right now off the top of my head, it’s a battle between True Romance, Miami Blues, and Saving Private Ryan.

@DrawntoaDistance seems like my kinda film. Dunno how to watch it though

@Iwishididit I think it’s on Amazon free if you have Prime. It’s also on Tubi free. Tubi is awesome. Free app for your tv, has all kinds of old obscure movies. Has a few commercials that play during the movie though.

I've seen the Shawshank redemption but I be not seen cool hand luke. But Shawshank is a good movie
Iwishididit · 41-45, M

That's your opinion.
I didn't care for either of them.
Not my idea of entertainment.

@Iwishididit I actually prefer more intellectual form of crime drama; such as Sherlock Holmes.
Those "shoot-'em-up" types are for less intellectual minds.

@RockinPop54 holy crap it's my opinion? I thought it was a fact
Iwishididit · 41-45, M

MyNameIsHurl · 46-50, F
I havent seen them
Iwishididit · 41-45, M
@MyNameIsHurl i would suggest you do. They are movies that made me think which i like. They're stories, and not just about fast cars, nice things or pretty women
solitaire · 41-45, F

Iwishididit · 41-45, M
