me ! i own DVDs and i like it.... the thing with blu ray is complicated

I have a DVD player. But I haven't owned a TV in 17 years.

If you have a movie or music collection and want uncontrolled access forever, you will keep old players, DVDs, and CDs. People want to stream everything or go strictly digital with massive collections of music but never stop to think that they really dont own anything that they need internet access or a phone/computer to access from some place that is not yours.

I have several bluray and CD players for that reason.

I have Blu-ray players

I use mine all the time to watch movies I get from my local library.
I do not stream movies, ever.
