I grew up watching Dr Who

One of the best shows for a kid to marvel at.
Dr Who first aired in Australia in 1965. The first Dr I saw was Jon Pertwee, 1970, followed by Tom Baker, 1974, Peter Davison, 1982, Colin Baker, 1984.
I do not remember those that followed, Sylvester McCoy, 1987 or Paul McGann, 1996.
There was a break of 10 years before the show was resurrected with Jon Hurt playing the War Doctor. I never saw this/these episodes.
The next Dr I remember seeing is Davis Tennant in 2005, then Matt Smith, 2010. The final Dr I saw was Peter Capaldi, 2014.
There were 15 Doctors up to the present day.

Wonderfully edge of the seat stuff during my childhood.
The dodgy sets and low budget effects at least showing the attempt at good drama.

I watched up until John Pertwee's departure and then lost interest.
Dr. Who's are like the James Bond actors. You tend to support the character you grew up watching

@Picklebobble2 I know I was rapt and agog watching Dr Who.
I remember the early years more than the later ones.
