In my opinion Notorious, The Bishop’s Wife and Arsenic And Old Lace are his very best three movies. I’ve seen 40 of his movies. Mr. Lucky is a hidden gem and Bringing Up Baby is over-rated.

@therighttothink50 Of course, but I limited my list there to ten. Otherwise the pictures would become too small to post. His Girl Friday I added with two others in a reply later on. I forgot about Mr. Blandings Builds His Dream House. That's a favourite of mine too. Thanks!

@Thatsright Yes, forgot about this wartime movie of his. Very decent in its depiction of the sort of the operations US submarines did in the Atlantic. Makes me think now of Operation Petticoat too now :) Thank you!
