I love this show, it's about a small town, all it's quirky inhabitants and a murder mystery, with a dab of the supernatural.

You can't look at some of David Lynch's movies in a traditional way. They are often at least to me a collection of loosely connected scenes that are kind of abstract or surreal. I often walk away with vivid imagery in my head but no complete picture. (His earlier movies are more straight forward)

Wild at Heart and Mulholland Drive would be two I recommend the most. You may leave crazy after seeing Blue Velvet.

I liked it in my early 20s, not sure if I could appreciate it as much if I started to watch it now. Season 1 was great, Season 2 felt forced and artificially drawn out and I turned off the Season 3 in the middle of the first episode and wasn't interested since.

If you like coffee and cherry pie, you'll love it. It has a charm that sneaks up on you

Twin Peaks, I made it to episode 11.......4 years ago then decided it was not for me.

It is a rather weird series, give it a try but it wasn't my cup of tea.

All I've ever seen was the original series with Kyle MacLachlan, and I liked it, as well as David Lynch stuff in general for the most part (except Dune)

Oh yeah. It's a hell of a ride. Just don't expect answers to everything. Lots of surrealism. Completely out there. I've seen all 3 seasons.

Starts out pretty good then goes off the deep end weird.
