@NativePortlander1970 So what? I‘m not asking historians for their opinions about a movie. Their validation isn’t necessary. I‘m interested in their thoughts on actual historical analyses or documentaries. Historical epics combine historical or legendary events with dramatization, that’s what the whole genre is about. If historians prefer to watch something more tedious instead of seeing history come alive in splendor and grandeur, then they can watch something else.
