Kevin Costner obnoxious?
The Untouchables! Come on!
Yes, to Michael Douglas. But his dad Kirk should be high on the list, too.
Where's William Holden, Henry Fonda and Spencer Tracy? Richard Widmark and Glenn Ford?
Richard Attenborough and Richard Burton?
Sam Neill, David Strathairn and Richard Dean Anderson?

Ness wasn't like Robert Stack, either. Ness also had trouble with his marriage and later with alcohol.
Writers and directors take liberties and go in a direction they want. As you know, I'm a stickler for details and historical accuracy. But I'm a bit biased though when it comes to Chicago, though, so that's why I loved the movie. And Connery was fantastic!

@beckyromero Kevin Costner has this habit of playing roles in a number of great movies but he always rubs me the wrong way. It’s like his character really never wants to be there. He‘s exuding arrogance because he tends to assume that his iconic stature in Hollywood history gives him some gravitas by default but he doesn’t have gravitas. It always seems like he‘d rather be somewhere else, forced to be a reluctant and stoic pair of calm hands.
He lacks the intensity and charisma of so many other great actors and yet he‘s always been awarded fantastic roles because he‘s a safe pair of hands for directors.

Where is the-many-years-deceased Robert Williams - google the reviews for Platinum Blonde (1931) - (for, at least, Very Talented) and Pauly Shore (for off-the-charts Obnoxious)?

And two categories below this, on their own are Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler.😷

I find Liam, DiCaprio, and Mel Gibson obnoxious tbh.

Obnoxious does not make a bad actor. Like where is Mark Wahlberg?
