It's OK to watch black & white movies (not all of these are in b/w). 😉
State of the Union (1948)
Keep in mind it came out before the election, which makes Van Johnson's character's prediction early in the film hilarious.
Desert Fox: The Story of Rommel (1951)
Just ignore all the English accents of German officers portrayed in the film.
The Bridge on the River Kwai (1957)
Sink the Bismarck (1960)
Admiral Günther Lütjens was not a member of the Nazi Party, nor was he an ardent supporter of Adolf Hitler as the film portrayed. Along with several other Kriegsmarine officers, he signed a letter protesting the anti-Jewish Kristallnacht pogroms in 1938. He also refused to give the Nazi salute to Hitler when the German dictator visited the battleship before its fateful mission, giving Hitler the traditional naval salute instead.
Advise & Consent (1962) - there's a colorized version 😉
Seven Days in May (1964)
MacArthur (1977)
The Scarlet and the Black (1983)
The King's Choice (2016)
And so many more. Will have to edit this message later.

Awesome, awesome, list! I really love how you lay it out and format it. For sure wanna check out some stuff on the second half of it. A bunch I haven't heard of before!

Awesome list. Kind of surprised that I didn’t see Last King of Scotland or Hotel Rwanda on it. If you haven’t seen them I think you’d love them.

@SpectralMourning I have seen them. They were both good.
