They’re planning a trilogy starting with 28 Years Later. I think a lot of this one was setup for the next two.

I saw my first 28years when I turned 28 and when I turned 56, I saw my second 28 years and looked back on my life and said damn lucky and blessed Bastard I am! LOL

I'm vaguely curious about seeing it, but I don't remember the previous 28s being terribly good. I'm kinda wanting to sit down and watch 'the myth of man', but I'm sure that will demand more attention thanI normally can give these days.

Yeah I saw it twice understood it a little more the second time and I saw it too because it’s from the ppl the made the original one

Yeah it was kind of a let down. They kept killing all the interesting characters off. Also think it would've been way more interesting if the mom had some connection to Rage instead of it being a generic cancer story.

I tried watching it this morning it just didn't hold my interest it felt B movie-ish. Blood looked fake. I got to maybe 6 minutes in and turned it off.

When i get bored i will try again

From what I gather, they essentially binned the idea of the Infected reaching the mainland, and reset it. And for that reason, not interested.

It definitely setup a sequel and seemed to be world building for sequels or spin offs
