As a kid I loved the Sinbad movies. 🍿
We didn't get to go to the movies much. I think Song of the South was one of my favorites when I was small.
I was that 5 year old that begged my mom to watch Nightmare on Elm Street! I loved horror movies at a very young age. We'd snuggle up and watch scary movies on the weekends lol

When my mother went shopping downtown, she would often take me to the weekday movie matinees (usually showcasing old ones from years gone by) with her when I was very young. The picture that stood out was Modern Times.

"The Day The Earth Stood Still" (1951)
It's still fantastic. And, germane to our world's circumstances.
I watched it just recently.

“The neverending story” I tried to show it to my daughter but she refused to finish it saying it was too weird, and she’s not wrong

caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@akindheart I don't really know. Just all of it I guess. Also I think it's a neat window of the 80s. Maybe not entirely representative but sort of
akindheart · 61-69, F
@caPnAhab it was kind of like the movie ET. it hit your heart. it had humor, drama and a great cast of characters.
