What TV show did your parents forbid you to watch growing up, and why?

@DearAmbellina2113 At about the time MARRIED WITH CHILDREN was making a big splash there was also THE COSBY SHOW; my wife was teaching 7th graders back then and the day after every COSBY episode aired they'd be in class complaining about being forced to watch it because their parents thought it was "family time" and felt a half hour of TV watching was a substitute of actually spending time with the kids.

@ChipmunkErnie He was America's Dad. What a bitter, bitter disappointment. A bit like a guy called Rolf Harris over here in the UK.
