Movie marathon

I think I'm going to do a Jessica Tandy movie marathon and watch as many movies as possible that she is in over the next month.

An excellent choice. May I recommend "The Gin Game" with
Jessica Tandy and her husband, Hume Cronyn. This is the 1981 film. I love this one. It was filmed on stage. I use to show it to my theatre students every year. There is also a 2003 version with Dick Van Dyke and Mary Tylor Moore. I believe you can find it on YouTube among other sites. Let me know what you think.

I know she had a very long career, but not sure how many movies she made. Wasn't she (and her husband) mostly noted for her Broadway stage career?

@ChipmunkErnie she has quite the extensive filmography
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
@FoxyQueen I'm not surprised, it's just that I am not familiar with it except for two or maybe three films.
Fun fact - her husband was Hume Cronyn. Their daughter's name is Tandy Cronyn.

what a waste of time, reading is much better for you
NoxAeterna · 41-45, M
@Willow2025 Agree that reading is better, but movies are a fun escape. Sometimes life allows the time to enjoy both.

@Willow2025 Books and movies are different genres just as music is different from books, art or films. Each has the ability to evoke emotions through different formats.

No one knows who she is
@Ferise1

Uh huh - - I think it was his only movie without music in the soundtrack.
Ferise1 · 46-50, M
@rinkydinkydoink no I’ve never seen it. I’m not into old movies.
FoxyQueen · 51-55, FNew
@Ferise1 hopefully my post will start a revival for her then!
