Instead of making a bunch of sequels after T2, there should have been a different series connected to the movies. We know Sarah Connor finds out about Skynet and the future war from Kyle Reese, there should have been a movie that showed August 29,...

@helenoftroy2000 I mean something that would have not necessarily followed T2 but started off August 29, 1997 and ending in 2029 the original time of the future war. It would end with Kyle Reese being sent back to 1984.
