Boy I miss Johnny Carson and that was funny
@HumanEarth

I'll always remember the way he was on that show ( not how he was taken apart - rightly or wrongly - in the press since he retired) and how he got the best out of his guests. Ed and Doc and Fred (de Cordova) were invaluable, too.

So true
Maybe 40 yrs ago I saw a man by the name of (not exactly because I forget) Johnny Johnson. He was introduced by Carson as a 100 yr old bellhop from San Francisco. He came out from behind the curtain, waved Ed McMahon over to his side then proceeded to lift Ed off his feet.

I have never seen this segment on YouTube nor have I heard any reference to this bellhop again.

Has anyone responding to this post ever seen this segment?

@Patriot96 her nipples were pointing and she knew it
@Patriot96

Oscar Levant said he knew her before she was a virgin. Best line about Doris Day and her image ever.
