Have you noticed that in every film or TV show, the characters ALWAYS fly first class when traveling by air? ~

What’s up with that?

It’s almost as if the writers don’t believe anyone actually flies coach.

True. The only exceptions I can think of is in comedies when they use the cramped quarters of flying coach for a joke.

Yep and their homes are always beautifully decorated.
Another trope is apparently in movies and TV you can still just run past security to any gate to declare your love to someone in public. Even though that has not been a thing for 20 years.

@PicturesOfABetterTomorrow Longer. It’s been 23 years since 9/11.
@RedBaron That makes me feel like an old man.

Another improbability - - how many hospitalized people in real life compared to the folks in TV shows or movies have their own private rooms?

@SW-User Great point.

Product placement for the airline.

@Longpatrol But the airline is often not identified.

@RedBaron you make a valid point. Chalk it up to the fantasy being created?
RedBaron · M
@Longpatrol Quite possibly.

True, it’s less expensive and more comfortable to shoot. Or just fewer seats?

And people don’t say “goodbye” to end phone calls. They just hang up.

It seems natural to me. You'll never find me riding back there with the illiterate and unwashed. No way.
