That new exorcist movie looks really bad

Another example of Hollywood overmilking the cow and lacking creativity.
This is why I watch independent and foreign films more often

I haven't watched it yet, hence commenting would be premature. Nevertheless, I do like the latest flick in the Evil dead series. It was released earlier this year and was a major improvement over its decade old predecessor which itself was way better than Army of Darkness. Would still keep my expectations low though. The thing is, movies like the original exorcist come once in a century. Too bad we don't live for that long.

Is it a remake? I thought it was another franchise money-grabber. Original was a good film. Still haven't read the novel though, have you?
