Ever see the show " I Survived....?"

Wow the horrible acts and accidents that some have gone through and endured...and made it out alive. I remember one woman was manning a convenience
store on her own at night when a man with a knife dragged her to the back room, cut her throat and left. She said she could feel air in her throat going in and out of the wound. The knife cut to her artery and she managed to crawl to the front door. A customer found her bleeding out and called 911. Docs told her it was a centimeter away from the jugular..she was a miracle to survive a throat stabbing. Just unbelievable... What a show. 👀😢

I can't watch it myself or listen to the harrowing stories. I lived seen done that stuff in the Army for 27 years and I cannot watch it as entertainment.

@WillaKissing Yes I can see it would be triggering definitely...😞some are not gunmen or burglars some are also work accidents. I am baffled how they got out...some lost both arms in work accidents but survived. Thank you for your time and service Willa. 🌹

@Mistakesmakeus That's a Discovery(Animal Planet) show. I Survived is A&E. It covers some of the same ground. I think I've seen or archived a few of those shows, too.

I love that show. Also I like the show Locked Up Abroad. It was very funny how it used to be called Banged Up Abroad but they changed the name for obvious reasons. 😹

Good lord, I thought of accidents like a skateboard guy slipping off a stairs rail and breaking his elbow so hard you could see the bones, but no attempted murder...

Yes, I had to archive many of those shows at my last job(for A&E). There was one guy who had a house WAY out in the wilderness, no other houses or people anywhere. He fell off the roof and was very badly injured. I don't remember how he was found but holy crap!

@Coralmist No, I mean, I made a file from the original master tape for archive purposes a few years ago. It's possible that the one playing out of A&E's server is the one I made. I currently work in the building where A&E is played out, so I guess it could be my file. Or not. There's probably no way to tell for sure.
