man ! , i can't get my Flip Phone to Ring when someone calls me and texting i can't do , i've been all over Settings to no avail

including returning the Phone to Factor settings , but still won't stay on Ringer

@deadgerbil too awkward cycling thorough the letters for very word and sometimes messes up there too so i have to delete them messages

It may be an older flip phone and your carrier is not updating/making that model anymore and they start to shut down like that forcing you to buy a new one. I have had that happen with my older Androids and was told they are not making or updating it any longer forcing me to buy a new one or miss calls/texts and the like.
