All Quiet on the Western Front

It's evident that,
There are no winners in war. Everyone is due to having a bad day. Not to mention the emotional and psychological repercussions of witnessing that carnage.
The urge for conflict and violence in order to achieve conquest.
Greed driven by ego.
It's a terrible human trait.

You should see Saving Private Ryan if you haven't. I have some war film recommendations in my posts within collections.

I highly recommend pride of the marines with eleanor parker and john garfield.

I have yet to watch it. I do recommend Knock on the door or is it at the door. Really cool. About making hard decisions to sa e the world. Also the new one with Tom Hanke. Something like Reading the News. Has news in the title. Great acting especially the girl.

The book is one of my all time favorites. There’s been a few remakes of the movie but this one is the only one that comes close to the brutality of what it must have really been like.

yes incredibly destructive and wasteful, but sometimes you have no choice. Sometimes the evil grows bolder because people are passive toward evil.
