@Teslin I like Trevor Noah but I don't think the format of the show works for him. + as a South African who only lived in the US for a shortwhile to be riffing on the country feels wrong.

John Oliver at least is a citizen and is connected deeply with the country( his wife is a Veteran)

I talk shit about the US all the time but(SW is anonymous and I'm a scaredy cat) I'd never dare do it on American national television

@Longpatrol that's exactly how i felt. he has some good insights as an outsider, but there's a lot that he didn't really understand.
