Do you like going to the movies or prefer watching at home?

I really enjoy the theater experience. Especially for blockbusters that are seen best on a big screen with a high end sound system. And honestly, popcorn. ICEE’s, and nachos just hit different in that environment. There’s more comfort when watching movies at home though. And sometimes that’s the only big appeal needed. It helps they sell Raisinets at the grocery store to up the appeal even more though.

I don't watch movies...

I used to go to the cinema more often BEFORE they built one 100 yards away from where I lived. Contrary, moi? Blockbusters are definitely far better on the big screen but home is so much more convenient....

There are some movies that are an experience in the theater. I am thinking about blockbusters with excellent SFX. But otherwise I prefer at home. It is more convenient at home and on a good rainy day can get through more than 1 in a sitting.

Honestly, depends on my mood. I live down the street from a theater and when I first moved here I was at the theater all the time. Then I got a Roku…nothing like being able to pause and fix a snack or go to the bathroom.

watching at home. Cinemas are pretty expensive nowadays and I dont wanna pay close to $50 to take my kid to watch a movie. Will wait a few months and pay maybe $5 to $10 instead

Love the movies. I will even go if they put an old one on that I want to see. Last one I saw was The Great Escape.. Next Month their showing the black and white western, The Man who shot liberty valance, John Wayne on the big screen! I can't miss that.

The latter. I like going to the movies, but there’s always one person there who just doesn’t seem to have “quiet” and “courteous” in their vocabulary.

At home, if at all. I don't remember when was the last time I actually made time specifically to sit down and watch a movie.

prefer watching in our set up in the rec room. nice comfy leather chairs and the kids know don't bother us if the door is closed

the cinema ain't what it used to be, doesn't have the same thrill or magic, so i watch dvds at home.

cinema going doesn't have the same thrill or experience anymore, since they got rid of all the traditional stuff at the cinema.

Some you just need to see on the big screen. But usually prefer to be at home.

I don't watch many movies as it is. In the rare case that I do I would rather watch at home. Easier, cheaper and I don't risk getting tinnitus. Apparently the sound in movie theaters is ear-shattering these days as well.
