I never took the Zombie themed movies seriously appealing only to the dull normal classes but...

Then I saw Jordan Klepper interviewing MAGA rally attendee's and realized just how truly braindead these people really are.

These people actually DO believe the garbage they are being spoon-fed and it's rather frightening knowing kids are hearing these lies. We are in such a sad state of affairs. I feel sad wondering what kind of future these kids will have.

Now you know. Zombie movies are a metaphor for humans. Mindlessly devouring, attacking anything they don't understand.

All you have to do is look at the postings here by the usual Trumpers. They ignore every truth and repeat every fiction because they honestly believe that's how it really is. You can't have an intelligent debate with them. It's like Alice trying to talk sense with the Mad Hatter and the Queen of Hearts. It's pointless.
Their heads are so far up their ass that it might be stuck that way permanently.
@latinbutterfly Ha! you said it hon.

To make matters worse, they think everyone is spoon-fed their information. They don't understand how to objectify things rationally or logically. They're so caught up in their own emotional bullshit, they don't see their masters exploiting their vulnerable predispositions to psychotic thinking (much like the mega-church pastors). They wash their hands of their herdist ways, blind their eyes to themselves. They are cognitively dissonant, they have to be. It's fascinating how insane a person can be, while still maintaining a facade of sanity.
@SnailTeeth Exactly right!

So you think that anyone who likes zombie movies is brainwashed?

Seems legit...

@Grateful4you My favorite zombie gorefest is the full (uncensored) version of "Paura nella città dei morti viventi", available in English as "City of the Living Dead", from 1980, directed by Lucio Fulci.

@helenS That's ok, I'm sure I need that kind of help too.
And I like any kind of post apocalyptic story,
@helenS Probably would be fun for a lot of people, sadly, I tend to obsess on stupid things like the dubbing and perseverating on the fact that zombies in Italy are speaking a romantic language as they munch away on the victim.

At this point if you believe in the government (red or blue) then i dont think you should be throwing the word brainwashing about
@gol979 Sorry I disagree. Brainwashing is exactly what it is. It's like they are following a playbook on "How to"
gol979 · 41-45, M
@Grateful4you im not disagreeing but if you are coming at this from the point "the blues are much better than the reds", then i would suggest the word brainwashing applies too?
@gol979 I never said "better" I consider myself more independent than anything. And really, I honestly intend to be an Ex.pat living in Mexico so you'll be well rid of me. 😜

I think ive seen all of those interviews.
My immediate reaction is to laugh. Then it's like man...these people truly believe the nonsense they speak. And they vote. Really not so funny. But funny.b

Please do not dehumanize people.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
@helenS It's not dehumanizing to say that they are brainwashed.
@LordShadowfire Exactly right.
helenS · 36-40, F
@LordShadowfire The expression "brainwashed" takes away their responsibility for their own actions. Like robots, they do what they are told. If that's not dehumanizing then I don't know what is.
