When someone buys a bottle for your table, what does that mean?
I just saw it on a tv show. Is that a rich person thing? I feel like it communicates, "Im rich and Im watching you."

the mystery man/woman is trying to find an angle to gain access to you and make you feel obligated to treat them like VIPs. at best: it's rude. at worst: it's sinister. best advice is protect yourself. always always decline (politely.) If the man/woman is persistent, ask for the manager, or safely leave. take care of yourself
