Did you see "A Clockwork Orange" when it first came out, circa 1973?
I think it was rated NC-17 when it was released and very controversial. Fifty years later, it would probably only raise a few eyebrows.

I saw it in early 1972. It was rather shocking at the time, but it would seem rather mild today.
