What films did you watch over and over and over as a child?

You know, to the point the VHS was worn out.

VHS came around LONG after I was a child. As a kid, thanks to independent TV stations out of NYC, I watched and re-watched KING KONG, MIGHTY JOE YOUNG, SON OF KONG, GODZILLA, RODAN, all the ABBOTT AND COSTELLO films, all the BOWERY BOYS films, and all the Johnny Weissmuller TARZAN filmsagain and again.
@ChipmunkErnie I love Abbott and Costello meet Frankenstein.

@Stereoguy Channel 11 (I think it was 11) in NYC used to run Abbott & Costello every Sunday morning, then switch to the Weissmuller Tarzan films, then back to A&C, in rotation for years.

@Stereoguy When i was a kid we got 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 from NYC; 3, 6, 10, 12 from Philly; and a very fuzzy Channel 8 from some other Pennsylvania city, or maybe it was Connecticut?

@DIABLISS I can vaguely remember when Channel 13 (considered a NYC channel but originally out of Newark, I think) changed over from a commercial station to the first "educational" channel -- quite a disappointment one Sunday morning when I turned on the TV and the shows i was used to were gone.
@ChipmunkErnie can you imagine how kids feel now? they have to have the ability to stream to watch good stuff on saturday
