I really liked him in Pitch Black. I haven't seen him in much else though.
SilkandLace2 · 46-50, M
@SW-User oh, the Riddick movies? Totally, I liked the Triple X movie also

SW-User
@SilkandLace2 Yes, i forgot about Triple X that was a great one too!
ninalanyon · 61-69, T
He was good in Pitch Black. And he's a likeable character.
But as an actor he is usually just Vin Diesel. He should stretch himself a bit.

SW-User
@ninalanyon He and Stallone have that second part in common. They sort of limited themselves to a typecast kind of thing.
loved him as groot
SilkandLace2 · 46-50, M
@Nunlover yeah, and I'm a Marvel Goof, I didn't realize that was him til uh, about 8 minutes ago, lol
romper69 · 51-55, M
Of the two franchises he is in that are really all about "family", he is less wooden in the one where he plays a tree
Starguy · 26-30, M
The Pacifier, nuff said lol
Love Vin Diesel.
Love Vin Diesel.

@Starguy NICE

SW-User
A fine actor. Great in Boiler Room. Fantastic in Pitch Black [and generally enjoyable imho as Riddick and Dominic Toretto].
Similar to Stallone in that he can act no problem, he just hasn't done it as much as perhaps some people were hoping.
And he was good in Saving Private Ryan.
I like Vin Diesel. 👍

i think he's the 5th most popular bald guy in his own movie franchise (fast and furious)
plasticpants02 · 70-79, M
I like his movies but not his acting
Dayman · 31-35, M
Meh
Notsimilar · 31-35, F
🥵🥵🥵
TheRascallyOne · 31-35, M
@Notsimilar Hey baby they call me Andrew unleaded
SilkandLace2 · 46-50, M
@Notsimilar izzat good or bad??
marsbar · F
I like his movies well enough, but he looks awful in kissing scenes. Big turn off. 😬😵
Zonuss · 46-50, M
He's cool. A modern day Sylvester Stallone.
SilkandLace2 · 46-50, M
@Zonuss I like that, very true!!

SW-User
@Zonuss It is funny you say that. they have stuff in common for sure - including being underrated as actors and being typecast. I like Mr. Diesel.
MougyWolf · 36-40, M
I want to see him play a gay character

SW-User
@MougyWolf As do I. I sense there is rumour and innuendo about his sexuality [and in the supposed enlightened 21st Century, alas] but would he excel in a camp role going somewhat against type?
Given that he strongly reminds me of Elliott Gould, I say: Yes! Based on his Boiler Room performance, I have always wanted to see him in such a role as it could be truly memorable and universally loved.

Off screen he's a total nerd and it's awesome.
SilkandLace2 · 46-50, M
@ViciDraco indeed, my midnight theatre tonight is "The Last Witch Hunter", in the special features he says how he is a D&D nerd, just like me, lol
ViciDraco · 41-45, M
@SilkandLace2 he had played d&d to promote it, and he had a video after when he was in the parking lot talking about how he had so much fun and couldn't believe he had gone so long without playing because he had so much fun. He was obviously high as a kite, it was hilarious. Video seems to have been taken down though

@Darksideinthenight2 can't argue there, I must say though, do we really need a F&F 23?
