Anyone else get more upset when pets are killed in tv and movies than when people are?

Animals are more innocent and helpless than humans

It does do an effective job at making you hate the character that did it. So when they get killed it's even more gratifying 😁

Yes, I do often [i]feel[/i] more for the animals killed in movies or TV shows. Not always more, but just as much.

All the time. The only sad movies that make me even begin to tear up are the ones where the dog or cat dies.
