@AdaXI I totally agree. T2 was insane when that first came out.

@Iwillwait Hehe yeah I queued up hours to see that film at the cinema with two friends. We were all about 11 years old at the time but two of us still got in to see it the smallest one out of us (he knew the score) didn't get in and sadly for him he had to go watch Robin Hood - Prince of Thieves instead, bless him the poor poor little bastard, hahaha!😆

Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs, Trainspotting, Schindler's List, Natural Born killers, The Green Mile, Shawshank Redemption, The Silence of the Lambs.

Films are shit now, too much emphasis on special effects and soundtracks, not enough emphasis on good stories or good acting.

Those are all pretty solid, but I'd include Pulp Fiction, Saving Private Ryan, Schindler's List, and Mission: Impossible as 90s faves of mine.

@BeerMonster 1998, and that opening sequence was riveting. When it came out, I studied how Janusz Kaminski purposely mistimed the shutter and everything that went into the making of it. About the only thing that doesn't completely work is the sequence that bookends the film.
BeerMonster · 46-50, M
@uncalled4 Agree but I found the inbetween bit very average, almost as if they looked at the film, thought 'shit, that's bland' and decided to make a ground breaking opening to add on.
uncalled4 · 56-60, M
@BeerMonster The ending sequence was just as compelling, and even more so considering the plot.
BananaBrown · 41-45, F
Groundhog Day
Galaxy Quest
Friday
Kingpin
Office Space
The Wedding Singer
