Can anyone recommend me some good psychological thriller movies?

Google hasn't been of much help 😅

Manhunter, It's the original Hanibal Lecktor movie that made Silence of the lambs seem like a kiddie flick !
The Invisible Guardian (Spanish with Eng Sub)
The Shining
Fargo
Joy Ride
Silence of the Lambs
The Boy Next Door -- cheesy but good lol
Dolores Claiborne
Taxi Driver
I'm Thinking Of Ending Things

Well, I'll recommend some I find I liked, can't guarantee you'll like them though. I love the old movie Rear Window (1954), 1922 (2017) was an odd one, still liked it though, Shutter Island (2010) predictable but good, A Cure For Wellness (2016) saw it, can't remember it, but have a feeling I liked it. lol Ex Machina (2014) was another good one. Oh and have to mention...Memento (2000) and Sixth Sense (1999).

Again, we all have different tastes so don't hate me if any of these are flops to you. I just like a lot of things and try not to pick apart most movie ideas. Hope these might help if you haven't seen any. I am going to check out It Comes At Night (2017) on NF.

Machinist is a good one I think. It’s a lesser known film but hey it has Christian Bale in it. The guy is super scrawny in that film. It’s leans more towards mystery though but it’s definitely psychological. The butterfly effect also kinda leans towards that. Shutter island is another one I think was decent. I don’t watch very many psychological thrillers so I don’t have many recommendations.

@HermannFegelein any horror in those movies?
MysterySci · 22-25, F
@HermannFegelein I watched The Machinist yesterday and damn, the acting was really good, but the story was kinda disappointing, I was expecting enough plot twists, haha. But that dude lost so much weight for it and 6 months after this movie, he had to gain weight and look muscular for Batman :o goddamn.

@MysterySci some actors truly are impressive in that aspect as well. I can only imagine what it’s like to starve yourself that much.

Wait Until Dark...another old movie with Audrey Hepburn. The Game with Michael Douglas...that one was awesome.

Here is a list of 100 top movies.

Late Cronenberg is good for that, with A History of Violence and Eastern Promises.

Perfect Blue. It's an anime psychological thriller. Black Swan borrowed heavily from it.
MysterySci · 22-25, F
@basilfawlty89 Ahhh, I've seen Black Swan 😄
