What's a show you like that went to crap after season 1?

Not really sure about season 1, but there's a few shows I liked that went downhill after the first few seasons.

I still liked dsv regardless. Bones should have ended two seasons ago.

Don't know, but True Detective season 2, ... the only solid good thing i heard about it was the Leonard Cohen theme song. Something however tells me that it was just different and might be worth a go.

Well, I thought Top of the Lake was only going to be a miniseries with one season, but they're making a second season, and I hope it isn't bad..

True Detective comes to mind.

Shows are always best in the first season and go downhill. Then start to like the characters or plot style so you cling to them, I think. The smarter you are the quicker you see they take away the screen time of the good actors and shove in the dumb stuff.
