Do you think Assad is a dictator

Seems like he is trying to fight the terrorists that were funded by Saudi Arabia and USA to overthrow the Syrian regime.

He is not a pleasant man, that's for sure, but the alternatives seem equally, if not more, nasty. I think the west has a lot to answer for in stirring up trouble in an already disturbed area.
The mess the west left in Iraq and Syria should have taught us to leave well alone.

if the ousted Assad.. a whole new power vacuum would appear..
Good / bad.. the west is in no position to pontificate righteousness..

And he's also the only real hope Syria has of remaining a real country.

@wildbill83 I'm not sure that you are correct. It is the west's interference that has caused much of the recent problems in the ME. Iraq, Libya and Syria were no threats to the West until we interfered. Likewise, it was the west that created the Taliban in Afghan.

@wildbill83 No, I've never been to Afghan. I was in Syria about ten years ago, and in Iraq in the 1980s. Fascinating places - were you ever there?

@Killerilluminati There ain't no oil in Syria of any note. Trump is an idiot and doesn't have a clue. No, the US are no angels but that doesn't excuse Assad being a dictator. Time for free elections in Syria.
