Seems like he is trying to fight the terrorists that were funded by Saudi Arabia and USA to overthrow the Syrian regime.

He is doing that. He is also a dictator, one of the worst. Torture camps and everything.

And he's also the only real hope Syria has of remaining a real country.

The world is a fucked up place.
