D'oh!, The Simpsons run to come to an end

After 30 years, next season will be the last for Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie, Snowball, Santa's Little Helper.
I watched it foe maybe twenty years until I gave up watching TV altogether, excepting AFL, Cricket.

Can't be too many tv characters as iconic as Homer.
As successful as many other shows have been, few get to continue that long.

@Gusman I'm sure that's the last time i saw it. In the early 80's they went through a phase of killing off a few regular characters. I gave up during the 'cull'.
