Rise of Skywalker - Luke and Rey or Ben and Rey?

I think the only way the final sw movie can go is if either Luke is actually still alive and takes down the first order with Rey, or Ben redeems himself and joins forces with Rey and they take it down together? Any thoughts?

I would be surprised if Ben survives this movie. I think luck is died. We never seen anyone come back from the dead. Even the emperor I think he is just a ghost

@smileylovesgaming I would be happy if Ben redeems himself and takes down the first order with Rey. I think that is what might go down. Remember Carrie Fisher is dead so they need to write Leia out and I believe that will be done early. I think that will be the tipping point for Ben and he will join the resistance with Rey and do their thing.

@Laughman I think Leia died some point between 8 and 9. You hear her at the end of the trailer with Luke. I just don't think Ben will survive the movie. It would be like if Darth Vader had survived. He couldn't just go back to being Anakin with all he had done

@smileylovesgaming Luke would know for sure if she was his, unless she was conceived right when Luke started the training and didn't know about it. Don't think it's a Kenobi as he died ages ago with no offspring.

@Laughman well felt like he went to that planet to die. He had nothing left at all. Ray was his last student in a way. He didn't really need to teach her since she ended up with those books
