Mark Hamil says his least favorite sequence to film in the original "Star Wars" trilogy was the scene where he cuts off the Wampa ice monster's arm.

Hamil says he felt that it was totally out of character for who Luke Skywalker is. The Wampa wasn't evil, just hungry. He'd have preferred if Luke had been scripted to escape without so severely injuring the creature.

Maybe George Lucas will redo it and have Greedo survive getting shot by Hans and then move to the ice planet and open a sanctuary for poor Wampas that have been horribly maimed by desperate young Jedi.

The big monster that lived in Jabbas pit wasnt exactly evil either but has Hamil said anything about that?

@Jm31xxx No, because the Sarlacc wasn't wounded. Six people got eaten by it and then Jabba's sand skiff was blown up. Nobody managed to hurt the Sarlacc itself.

@BlueMetalChick um i meant the thing that lived under Jabbas throne, not the thing that was in the desert.

@Jm31xxx Oh, the Rancor! I don't know if he made any comments about that thing. None that I've heard.

And to be honest I don't know much about the Rancor either, whether it was a wild animal that Jabba captured or if it was genetically engineered or something like that.

@BlueMetalChick but lets just agree, if Skywalker had tortured the laughing monkey thing that sat on the edge of Jabbas throne, that would've been okay. The laughing monkey thing totally had it coming.

@SW-User Well, he was technically a prisoner so I guess we can't be as harsh on him.
