Dick Van Patten in any episode of "Eight is Enough". Nuff said. Discussion closed. Nothing more to see here peeps. Go back to your homes.

He was such a little prick. That cast didn't really fare too well after the show was cancelled. One of them committed suicide. :-(

The original is such a masterpiece.

@NigelDoes: The original, with Edward Woodward and Christopher Lee, was a lot better. The remake was appalling.

There's quite a few roles that spring to mind... Sean Penn in Mystic River. Joachin Phoenix in Gladiator. Al Pacino in Scent of A Woman. The list could go on. :)

My pic would have to be Harvey Keitel in Bad Lieutenant. Truly mesmerizing performance.

Oh don't try to hijack the post with these high falutin performances by so-called legends, Aletheia. Surely anything starring The Rock should be on your list.

Lol unfortunately I don't consider him an actor. 😋

I'm absolutely behind you on that one. The way that he combined physical cowardice with verbal bombast was amazing.

I liked Heath Ledger in A Knight's Tale.
