Anyone else think this is poor service? My television has had sound and picture cutting out badly since Tuesday night.

This is the second time I have had this issue. A repairman came to my apartment two weeks ago, and got things working reasonably well.

On Wednesday of last week I called to report the continuing problem, and although they tried resetting my tv from their office, that did not work. They made a "first available" appointment for a repair technician to come out Friday afternoon. Then my internet connection also started disconnecting randomly.

On Thursday, the cable company (Xfinity) computer called me and told me the problem was indentified outside my house, on one of the wires, and gave me the option of cancelling my service appointment (which I did NOT do). So obviously the cable company has known the location of the problem since Thursday.

On Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. a goofy looking guy showed up at my apartment (the repairman, supposedly) stating that that my entire building was having problems. He did absolutely nothing but tell me ALL the apartments he had to visit (to give them the bad news?), and told me that a repairman would fix the problem. (I thought HE was supposed to do that?)

I asked him how long it might be, and he told me probably within 24 hours, but that it could be as long as two days, and not to worry, because the line technicians work 24/7.

I can tell you that they have not been working HERE 24/7. It is mid-morning on Saturday and nothing is fixed.

Am I being silly to expect that if the company has known about this since Thursday and sent a technician on Friday the problem should already have been fixed? I know...silly me.
