do you need to shut off your brain to sometimes enjoy a movie?

i know to some you could just Watch a movie, but to others they need to dumb themselves down a bit just to enjoy the movie without ranting the little details of the movie and without ruining the experiences for other people...are you those type of people who observes even the little details and who question logic of a big movie franchise?
