Medical alert bracelet
Lack of sleep, a bad headache and anxiety would normally keep me home but with kids i can't do that.
So we went to see Santa. The line was a little long and i had a few outbursts while waiting. I got a few dirty looks but no one said anything.
Then we went to whataburger. We got a table in the back. Not close to anyone. I sat on the outside of the table. But i still slammed my arm down on it a few times. (A new tic i developed this year) that along with a few outbursts and facial tics some loving mother of two called the police on me. Said i was abusing my kids and causing a scene. The cops came in i got nervous and my outbursts got worse as i explained to them i had tourettes and about my tics. Then my sweet girl says daddy show them our bracelet.
It has on it i have tourettes, a heart condition and the numbers of my doctors.
Thankfully the office looked it over and told me to enjoy the holidays.
The bracelet saved the night
