Glad i didn't listen

This week was been a struggle. I have barely slept all week. I know i haven't been eating well. Ive sipped on to much whiskey. My outbursts have been very bad along with my facial tics. My head feels like someone is stabbing me in the brain. My body hurts from all of this.

My wife picked the kids up for me today and helped my daughter get ready.
She told her we shouldn't go to the dance.


My wife told me i shouldn't go to the dance.
My boss told me i shouldn't go to the dance.
My co-workers told me i shouldn't go to the dance.
I was starting to think I shouldn't go to the dance.

I go to pick up my daughter and while i wait i have a loud outburst. My neighbor stops and looks at me.

She told me I shouldn't go to the dance.

My daughter opens the door. I smile and my heart melts seeing her. I hand her the flowers.

She says daddy i can't wait to to go to the dance with you.
Im so glad we went to the dance.
