People who have dealt with real narcissists

I constantly hear or read “I’m suffering while they’re having the time of their life it’s so unfair”

You’re suffering and they’re not because you have empathy and they don’t.

The time of their life is charming the pants off anyone who will constantly give them status or supply. They criticize EVERYTHING or anyone daily, endlessly. So it's a facade, the time of their lives. And yes, in some ways, they are enjoying, because they only care about One persons needs, and one person only...themselves. 😟

@PatKirby narcissists have smaller amygdalas compared to normal brain scans. The amygdala is responsible for emotions and empathy

Which is interesting because reptiles also have very small amygdalas. That’s why their behavior is instinctual
