Seems like all five types have never learned how to discern.

By discern I mean to know when they are being used.

I have been known to be both #1 & #2. Yet there comes a point where too much is just to much and you're forced to do something about it.

So what did do? I distanced myself to an extent, yet also learned to recognize such narcissists for what they are.

I knew from day one a certain well known person was a narcissist.

@DeWayfarer @DeWayfarer Yes it often take many years to see those narcs for what they are,because they make you feel like YOU are the one at fault and THEY are the victims,this is called "gaslighting" after the movie "gaslight" when a husband is trying to drive his wealthhy wife mad and talking about wealth,narcs also steal your money.
