Why women think being insane is considered female empowerment?

Answering this in good faith --

A) Women used to be stereotyped as crazy and that was used as an avenue for oppression of women. The word 'hysteria' is actually derived from the latin word for uterus because old timey scientists would claim that the uterus makes them crazy.
B) Everyone thinks being crazy can be empowering in a way and it kind of makes sense. Men do this too with comparing themselves to the joker. if someone's crazy, it's more dangerous to start fights with them because you never know how far they'll go, beyond what's even remotely proportional or rational. You don't want to be on a crazy person's bad side.

In reality, of course, being mentally unwell makes you MORE vulnerable to exploitation. This logic only makes sense in the context of being a power fantasy.

So this is your general consensus of women? Wrong. Not all women act like this. Not the mature ones
LOL. Don't let your wife read that or you'll be sleeping on the couch.
@BizSuitStacy the couch, if he's lucky....

Funny how some men will call a woman “insane” the moment she stops auditioning for their approval.

Then again, a lot of men don’t misunderstand empowerment itself. They just preferred the version that still involves them.

Depends on the woman and her insanity.
Someone else is only 'Insane' when you're not getting your way with them.
