Sometimes giving someone a second chance is like giving them an extra bullet for their gun because they missed you the first time.

As the saying goes, “Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.” But as someone who’s fell victim to such scenarios, it’s real easy to fall for one’s act when you legit care about them.

I gave someone a second chance, I have regretted it ever since.
